Goblin Lore Book:

Goblins are shorter in stature and are not to be considered a very strong monster. They tend to stick to the shadows using their natural dexterity and ability to get out of the way to allow them to get by.

Before the Dawn of Time between the clash of Deities. Kayleth struck down his father and when the fathers blood hit the ground. The blood like acid dug into the earth and from these craters monstrous beasts emerged. Trolls, Ogres and Orcs started to roam what is now known as Dremlin. But the battle field where the drops fell was not a flat plain, it was a wasteland of crushed mountains. When the fathers blood fell it splash and splattered on the rocks. From the pits created from the splashes emerged the smaller monsters. Among them, Goblins.

Contrary to popular belief Goblins prefer to work in smaller parties. They try and avoid going anywhere in larger groups. It is when they have a driving force that they gather in greater numbers. Whether a cause or a leader this is when to worry. They will not stop with their cause until the driving force has been dispatched. Since they usually follow rogues in their camps and combined with their preference to leading their own smaller bands. Internal strive is rampant and usually disperses any larger camps. In their Camps there are a few priests [Usually to the Father] and even fewer mages.

Goblins prefer to use stealth tactics for hunting and raiding the other races of Dremlin. Usually avoiding heavier clunky weapons for stealth they like to hit hard and then run. If they can they will setup elaborate traps to protect themselves.

Goblins are masters of Explosives. Alchemy, traps, mining with and for combat. There are accounts of 'accidents' where a stockpile will go up causing gargantuan craters. Though there are accounts of that these may be self ignited there have been no credible sources for citation.
