The Management Team has discussed the rule about leaving site resulting in a loss of XP, and have determined that it hails from an older time in Shadow Realms' history, and does not reflect SR in its current form. The new version of the rulebook will not include this rule, and is (as of now) no longer in effect!

The only exception will be the Halloween event, which awards double XP due to Hallows being a more dangerous event throughout. At Management's discretion, players who leave site may lose some XP, though the amount lost will never exceed more than 3 XP. To put it another way, you are guaranteed your base 3 XP for Hallows, and the additional XP is considered your "danger pay".

As always, no matter which event it is, please inform someone on either Plot or Management if you will be leaving site, and when you have returned, should you do so. This is more for safety than anything else -- we don't want to be scouring the woods for someone who is home safe in their bed or out buying food!
