What if the I had 3 in Magic tier (grants no body bonus), 1 in general, and 1 in stealth (example)?

If I purchase an extra point for my skill array and put it into Magic (which grants no bonuses to body) after character creation and it bypasses tiers that DO grant body bonuses, does it oust them as body-calculators?

As it says in the quoted rules section, use the two skill tiers that are most to your advantage, regardless of whether the tie is for first place or second.

Can you give a more specific example for the second question?

Magic grants no body bonuses. If it's my highest tier in the skill array, regardless of whether that occurs before or after character creation, it HAS to be one of the skill tiers I use to calculate my body per level, correct?
